Girls like scotch, too.

 O hai f-list!  Long time no see.  Long, long time, in fact.

For the current portion of my winter vacation, I am staying in a place with no internets.  AT&T claim that they cannot get internet to this particular apartment in the middle of one of the BIGGEST CITIES IN CALIFORNIA.  Ahem.  It's rather distressing.  Luckily, my family has a nearby business that DOES get internet, though, so not all is lost.  But I do spend rather a lot of my day watching daytime tv, making abortive efforts at reading academic books, and twiddling my thumbs.  blah.

In other news, I think I like scotch.  I like whiskey better, but scotch I like just fine.  My husband claims that this is extraordinary and that I may be the only woman anywhere that likes scotch.  I say plenty 'o women like scotch.  Don't you?

In the next couple of weeks, I have big, big plans.  They include
1. Making a picspam of all the reasons you guys should watch the crack-tastic Canadian show that is Lost Girl.
2. Writing Lost Girl fic.
3. Doing work befitting an intellectual bastion of intellect like myself.  *snort*
4. Lesson-planning.  *snooze*

I figure if I only get through, say, the first two and a half, all will be well.  As resolutions go, they're pretty do-able.
